Jess Dauray - Principal and lead designer
I grew up in New Canaan, Connecticut, where my parents exposed me to all the art, culture, and food that New York City had to offer from a very young age. This early exposure cultivated my love for interior design, as well as my passions for food, art, and architecture.
I relocated to Greensboro, North Carolina, where I raised two kids, and now split my time between Greensboro and the Carolina Coast. I enjoy traveling and cooking and have been fortunate enough to be a world traveler, which has greatly benefited my career. My extensive background in classical art and architecture allows me to bring a very architectural point of view to my projects, which my clients greatly appreciate. At the same time, both form AND function are essential to my design style. Plenty of design projects are beautiful; but if they're not also comfortable, they don't have value to those who live there. Creating livable spaces that also catch the eye and inspire the spirit is difficult, but it’s always where I like to be. Finally, I create stories with texture and form. I let the space and my clients' desires talk to me. My goal is to unlock the secrets of a space while integrating my clients' personalities with a metropolitan, sophisticated flair.
